Right now, I have a 622 and one of the High Def receivers. The 622 is running in HD in the theater room and running a second TV in the master bedroom. The High Def receiver is running in the office. We just got a new 32" LCD for the master bedroom and the output from the 622 is aweful. What I really want is HD and DVR in the theater room and the master bedroom. My options seem to be:

1) Buy another 622 for the master

2) Move the High Def receiver to the master and get a high def DVR of some sort

What do you all think would be best? If I buy another 622, will I have to run additional cable other than a single coax that is already in the master? I assume I will have to pay another receiver fee and another DVR fee? Does that sound right? It seems just buying another 622 would be easiest if I do not have to try and run more cable. Thanks for any help.

If you have a DPP44 switch, the one cable running to your master is all you need. You would use the included splitter with the 622 to provide your dual SAT feeds.
Correct, you would be charged an additional DVR and Addl Rec Fee. If you have the PlatHD package, the DVR fee is waived.

Thanks for the input. So, if I buy one of the DPP44 kits off ebay, that is all I need to hook up the second 622? That sounds great.

One more scenario:

Is there any way to run the feed for the High Def receiver and the feed from tuner 2 on the 622 along the same cable? I am wondering if its possible to move my High Def receiver in the master. Hook it up to the LCD with an HDMI cable and then somehow have the tuner 2 on the same cable but run in to the coaxial hookup on the LCD. That way, I could have High Def live TV and still have standard Def DVR. I hope that makes sense. Would be quite a bit cheaper route. Maybe the DPP44 will still handle this?
