My HR20-700 seems to take about 10 minutes between the time it get power and when I can watch TV. Is this normal? It's rather annoying when I'm waiting something and the power browns out for 15 seconds and then I gotta wait 10 mins till I see the rest of what I was watching.

The installer told me never turn it off for that reason. He said every install takes forever because he has to wait ten minutes for a reboot.

I've had a UPS connected since I bought my HR10-250. We actually lost power for a few minutes even yesterday, no loss of TV!! That's especially important if you have a larger LCD projection TV, and I assume DLP. Those bulbs don't like getting shut off without being able to cool!! UPS is the way to go!!
