Wake up Earl!
LOL
The OxD1 patch is installed and I tried playing back a previously recorded program with sync problems and it's still a bit out of sync, but maybe this update will fix the sync problem with any newly recorded programs. Only Time Will Tell...

I am really hoping that they killed the major lost show recording problems as well as what the recorder does if you lose signal due to rain. Anything else they fix would be icing on the cake for me. I love it when there is still hope, just before the reported bugs start pouring in.

That's pretty much my short list. I will like it whenever they activate OTA and SATA expansion storage ports.
Some of the other "bugs" reported are more nuiances in comparison to the old Tivo units. A dual buffer seems to be a big wish list item as well.
This thing has been pretty clean and great so far, especially for a newer tech item - the orignal Tivo units took 14 firmware updates to get working properly and stable. Their close here after just 2 - and the technology is superior (not to mention faster navigation).
Just checked - got the new OxD1 update - went through the menus and setup screens...everything fast, but didn't see any noticable changes.
We'll have to wait for the release notes. My guess is that some of the nuissance items (most of which I haven't seen or heard) - audio issues, HDMI sync issues, etc.).

I now have 0xd1 as well, as of 5:53am today...
Will have to check if my HDMI issue has been corrected.

I hope the update add 4x FF and RW as well as smoothing out the trick play features (especially 30 sec slip) to work more in line with how the R15 performs.

Nope, the HDMI output still causes my TV to detect any programming as widescreen and kicks in the TV's "16:9 Enhanced" mode (as described in this post (http://www.dbstalk.com/showpost.php?p=661753&postcount=82)).

What was your issue medic?See this post (http://www.dbstalk.com/showpost.php?p=661753&postcount=82) from the 0xCC HDMI issues thread. This feature worked just fine via HDMI with the HR10, but so far hasn't with the HR20.
