DirecTV has had missing guide information for several of my local TV stations digital signals for a while now, but ever since I got my HD-TiVo last August, I have been trying to get the guide information added.

I have tried contacting Zap2it.com, Tribune Media Services, and most of the individual stations themselves. I received no reply from Zap2it.com, I received a reply from Tribune, but never a follow-up to the e-mail. I've gotten replies from the station's that the "reason I didn't receive the guide data was because I was too far out to receive their signal" (even though I receive it their signal), "we'll look into it", and "I'm not sure we can do that"

Recently, however, a station's digital signal was added to Zap2it.com, and I expected it to be added to my HR10-250 shortly, that was a month or two ago, and it still has yet to be added. It might have something to do with how the channel is mapped on Zap2it.com. The channel is mapped to 51-1 (they broadcast digitally on channel 51, analog on 55, and remap their digital channel to 55-51). TiVo online shows this channel, so it's probably available on the TiVo Series 3...

But what's REALLY WEIRD is earlier today, I was playing around by hooking up my old Hughes HTL-HD receiver to my Stand-Alone TiVo, and noticed that DirecTV has now added guide data for one of my local stations' sub-channel (still no information for their primary digital channel)... but it only shows up on my Hughes HTL-HD receiver, and NOT my HR10-250. More than likely this is because whenever I try to go to that channel on my Hughes HTL-HD, it takes me to the analog tuner (yes, the HTL-HD has a OTA analog tuner in it) even though it refers to it as WSWG-DT2 (43-2).

My HR10-250 is missing guide data for TWO primary digital signals in my DMA, as well as two sub-channels in my DMA, and I'm getting really tired of being without this information, but I'm not sure what else I can do about it...
