View Full Version : Recording during audio loss
My sister and I are both new 622 users (less than 10 days). We seem to be experencing the same bugs as everyone else.
I had a question about audio loss. If I am watching something live or delayed while recording the same program, and I experience the audio loss bug, does the recording continue with audio? or is the audio lost in the recording also. I am wondering if I just waited until the recording was thru to reset the 622 will the recording also have the audio loss?

In my experience, the audio dropouts are in the playback of the audio, not the recording. If I hear a dropout I can rewind and then hear the audio that was dropped played back correctly.

I get the dropouts when playing back dvr'd recordings. It usually causes me to miss every other word periodically in a section of the recording (only started after 3.63 downloaded). If I rewind and playback, it still drops out exactly the same as the first time. Prior to 3.63, I would occasionally experience audio 'stutter' but pausing and then playing would clear it up. I'm not having the same luck with this audio drop-out issue and it's happening on everything I record! I understand from another thread on this forum that 3.64 should be coming out tonight that will fix the audio problem. Keeping our fingers crossed because this is really annoying!
the audio drop out i am experiencing is a total loss until reset. i have not experienced a periodic loss.

I have seen both types of audio losses reported. Check out this thread:
