Choosing a DTivo brand?

I'm going to give the R15 a time-out in a closet until it learns to behave.

If I have a choice of buying a Philips DSR704 or an RCA DVR40, is there any reason to choose one over another?

I think there all about the same, recording hours might be the only thing diffrent.

Those two are the same underneath the cover.


The DSR704 has a better looking outer shell (IMHO)
