Sat 103 question

So after another day of installers messing with my dish thye seem to have it working. I get great singals on all the Sats except for 103 which I get all 0s. Funny thing is I dont notice any channels missing that I should be getting. Everything seems to be working fine and the installer (of course) says you dont need 103 if you have 99.

I know this has been sorta covered before, but do you *have* to get singals on all 5 sats for things to work? Or does it depend on where you are at what Sat your locals are coming from or something?

Yes, the HD locals are spot-beams. If no nearby city gets their locals from 103, you may not get any signal from 103. If you have a good signal strength on 99, 101, 110 and 119 then your dish is pointed fine. In 2007 when we get national MPEG4 channels of 103, then you will get a reading on 103.

Thanks I am getting crazy good singals on the other 4, just 0 on 103 so it looks like I am good to go.
