I keep reading things such as soft reset, hard reset, soft boot ,hard boot, etc. I know some of this is powering down, unpluging etc. Will someone explain the meaning of these phrases? These things seem to be tried often when trying to clear a problem for the first time.." I love this forum. 622 installed tomorrow.
Thanks

Soft reset & reboot are the same that is pressing the power button on the 622 until it resets. Hard reset & reboot are the same that is unplugging unit for a minute then plugging the unit back in to power.

That's a term used to describe the communication between the 622 and the television via the HDMI cable.
