I have standard programming + Local channels (2 separate dual lnb dishes with a 4x4 multiswitch) and two D10 receivers in my home. I also have a cabin though that I want to connect to Directv for a few days a year. I have 2 old single LNB dishes.

Is there a switch available that would allow me to combine the two single LNB dishes (one for standard programming and one for local channels) to just one of my receivers? I don't need 2 receivers at the cabin. I was hoping to do this without having to buy two new dual LNB's. Thanks.

If it truely is the SINGLE LNB dish... with only 1 output from the LNB assembly (note those are very rare now), then no... you can't do it.

Other then that... any of the Zinwell Flexport Multiswitches will work

Replacing the single LNB with a dual should work. These are fairly cheap at Circuit City (I don't know if they mount the same way).

Actually if he gets one of THESE switches, it will work perfectly with 2 single out LNB's dishes:

I know because I have used ones similar to these & they work flawlessly. For $10, it's pretty cheap, too.

FYI Earl - for people with the 72.5 dishes, you don't ever need a dual out LNB on the 72.5 dish. You only need a SINGLE coax to the 18V in of the 22khz side of a standard 4x4 or 4x8 switch & it will work just fine as well.
