Recorded some local channels tonight (CSI, Earl, The Office) & lots of artifacts & shadows look real bad.
My TV (50" Sony SXRD XBR1) has never has great SD but wow this is not good, I'm hoping HD locals over OTA or Sat will record much, much better.
