I was surprised to find that the new HR20 boxes I received yesterday from D* which had a late Sept build date had faster guide movements than the HR20 box I bought from Best Buy that had an early August build date. Both boxes had the latest software updates. When the new boxes got installed, I noticed right away that the guide was much much quicker. I would think that the hardware is the same but I can't explain why it was so much better on the later Sept. build. Anyone have an idea?

Got me, I can't see how the guide can get much faster as it is.

The guide may be faster for a little while after it is first connected. I doubt there have been any hardware revisions yet, but who knows.

If you go to the Info & Test area in the Settings menu who is the manafacturer of your HR20? I am curions if D* is using more than company to make the HR20. I found that an H20 made by 100 had a much "quicker" feel to all menus than one made by 700. Seems strange...
