Standard recorded program skipping, pausing etc.?

Is this an issue with the unit or HDMI that anyone is aware of? I recorded Dateline Friday night and when watching the standard recording it will go black for a couple of seconds, skip etc..

I have had issues with some Mpeg4 programs, but wondering if this is also a known issue?

Yep, the recording problems do not discriminate between the two codecs, or even HD and SD. Everything can screw up, although MPEG4 does seem to be the most problematic.
