OTA Question

Shortly after I had gotten my H20, I posted about the fun I was having getting some long distance OTA stations appearing on my guide and being mostly watchable, late at night. Shortly after that they dissapeared from the guide and have not reappeared. All I get now is my local OTA's. Would D* have the capability of blocking long distance OTA's from being received and if so why would they do that?

I should be able to run another line from the OTA antenna directly to my TV and reacquire those signals on my TV tuner?

I think it's not Directv but it's more likely due to a Tropo Ducting condutions weather that is causing some distant stations to travel farther.

but actually the longest distance OTA I get now is from Eau Claire, and it is coming in better and better as the weather is getting colder and colder, and also the tree to that direction is losing it's leaves. So I think it is something other than the weather, atmospheric conditions.
