It was pretty good! Great info on the 501, 721 and 921 and DBSTalk got mentioned!

Err Steve that was a JVC-9000 that got mentioned not the 921. :D
As a video editor, I must admit that that interview with the box designer left my cringing. LAY OFF THE EFFECTS AND WIPES!!!!
good video editors use unneeded efforts for one reason: to hide mistakes, if that is true in this case, how many mistakes were there?? :)

Totally agreed MJZ, welcome to DBSTalk, by the way :hi:
That clip made me dizzy and the mosaic effects were unnecessary

I am also a video editor and that video violated almost every rule for proper editing. The person who did that should be shot.
Idea for poll:
What should happen to the guy who edited the 721 piece?
a)shot
b)hung with an unwounded dvcpro tape.
c)be forced to return his 'my first editor' to best buy.
d)used unnessary attention getting tactics: go directly to fox news, do not pass go....
e)have carlie give him a 'final cut'

I had my PVR set a month ahead of time, last night i get a blinky clock and it says HELP program-unknown and Im like "whats that???" must be my wife clicking wrong or something - DELETE.
45 mins later I stumble across tech chat in progress - DOH!

Ia m not currently in the market for a PVR so I was not all that interested. But I guess that is where the tech news is at the moment.
