Sony SAT B-55 - Transponder - Please HELP

I have a Sony SAT B-55 receiver. Using the menu I can change the transponder but when I leave the menu the box goes back to the original transponder.

Any ideas?

Do you mean that you can change the transponder number in the antenna test, but when you leave the test and later return to it, it has gone back to the earlier number? I believe that when a Sony B-55 is put into antenna test, it starts on the transponder of the currently viewed program, so unless you subsequently change the channel you are watching, each successive test will begin on the transponder that carries that channel's data.
