Weekend Signal Loss

Over the weekend I started to experience periods of intermittent, brief signal loss (picture pixelation, searching for signal message, return to picture, and break up again.) This occurred throughout the afternoon and into Sunday evening during perfectly clear weather conditions.

I've been using DirecTV for over 6 years and have never experienced this problem in clear weather. I upgraded my receiver to R15 a few weeks ago; is this hardware change a possible cause?

I experienced the same thing (R15) and since I had little to lose, I did a "reset/down arrow record" and then a "reset all". For whatever reason, the signal lose was gone. Go figure.

I had a similar occurance with a Samsung DirecTivo. We lost signal a couple of times over the weekend, both times on tuner #1. When I did a signal test, both Tuners 1 and 2 had good strong signals and the picture returned.
