I had the HR20 set to record CSI tonight and The OC, which my wife decided she doesn't really want to keep watching. So, I finish watching the Office and go back to the VOD screen and there is a message about a conflict between The OC and ESPN HD (the channel the tuner was on prior to 9:00PM.) Only The OC is listed in my VOD. I stop the recording as my wife really doesn't want to watch it. Now the record light remains on and still no CSI in my VOD. I can switch between CSI and ESPN HD without losing the buffer on ESPN HD. CSI, I cannot rewind to the beginning, even though the status bar says it has is buffered back to 9:00PM. So, we decided to watch The Nine from last night and see what happens after CSI is over.
In summary:
CSI is the only show set to record at 9:00PM.
Recording light is on, but nothing shows in My VOD.

Sigh... CSI shows as Partial and is deleted automatically of course. Thanks D* for deciding what to delete for me.

Got survivor, the office, currently watching CSI while recording it. Also recording Grey's Anatomy right now. Everything seems ok. I lost Earl but it was my fault. I went to change the channel when the program started and it cancelled Earl. I forgot I was recording 2 programs. Of course I never checked it to see if it was still recording. :bang

Watching CSI live tonight in the background. The program locked up in the sense that Play, Rewind, FF, etc. did not work. The List and Info buttons did work, so I went to the List and started CSI again from the beginning and then hit Exit to go back to Live TV and all is well. I did not Reboot and it seems to be recording.
deleting CSI isn't a bug... its just "different" from what the Tivo DVRs do... when they "record"... you can later "watch" the program.. not so with the HR20...
remember, its not a "bug"..... just a "different".....

once you realize that it is automatically deleting programs to save you time, the HR20 makes a lot more sense!!!
