Resolution question

Excuse this question from a new HR20 owner. What mode should the resolution be in setup? Should be in "native" mode?

Secondly, do I need to set the resolution on the front panel to any specific resolution? Or keep it on 1080i?

Gary -

You're preference, but I would keep it at Native. This topic is discussed in detail in a few threads. Do a search on 'native' mode. Welcome and good luck.

In setup, TV type you should check off up to the highest resolution your set is capable of. For 16:9 HD set this will likely be either 720p or 1080i.
