Can both the TV1 and TV2 remotes be UHF control?
I have seen sets of the remotes on ebay (TV1 and TV2) and wonder if it is possible, how do I make a TV1 UHF remote that works well with TV2 also being UHF?
Edit- Sorry, just read the Remote Options thread and it takes care of my question. Funny how I didn't see that thread while looking over the forum earlier..!

No, only 2 has a RF and IR transmitter. 1 is IR only.

Looks like it can be done by orderring a 6.3 remote kit ($30 with shipping from Dish). Once programmed to TV1 you will have both TV1 and TV2 on UHF control.

Yes, 6.3 is the RF/IR number 2 remote and 5.3 is the IR only number 1 remote. You will need to make sure that you have them programed to deferent frequencies.

Are the frequencies set internally with a switch inside the remote?

You change the frequencies using a button sequence on the remote with the receiver in standby and the sys info screen up. Instructions on doing this are in the user manual. I can't remember the exact sequence otherwise I would have posted it.
To change frequency, Push and hold Sat until the other buttons light, pick some address and hit # key. To make the receiver respond to the remote at the new address, push Record button on remote when the receiver is at the Sys Info screen. TV1 or TV2 should display the new address on screen. It might be easiest to get to Sys Info before changing remote address.
EDIT: I was quite wrong on the 1st paragraph - they do have to be different addresses. I've deleted it.
