I have an opportunity to buy 3 Tivos.
A phillips dsr704 ,samsung s4040r and the rca model of series 2 dtv tivo.
My Question,Do all Tivos have the same inerface?
As far as the guide and menu?
Are any of the above better or worse than the other?
I have checked out an R10 and it seemed kinda slow.

I hate the peanut remotes, but i have a couple of RC23's that should work with the tivos.

Thanks for any comments?

I don't know which of those is better then the other, as for the interface yes they all have the same interface guides and so. I don't think it's honestly changed a whole lot since it original ones.

Has anybody tried to get the rc23 to operate a Tivo?

Give it a try and let us know how it works. I just doubt you're going to get a rc23 to be a peanut.

You can always go to a universal remote. Logitech Harmony are very popular here.

Yes it will work, use 01442 for the receiver code. There is no "slow" button, use menu for DTV button and exit for livetv.
