View Full Version : New Icon In The "Guide"?
Have any of you see this icon? - It looks like the record icon (Red circle with "R" ) but instead of the "R", it's an "X" with a little "star" to the upper right of it! Looked through the manual and could not find the icon! Call D* and talk to tier "2" - they didn't know what it was either! After about 10mins. of staring at the guide trying to figure it out, I did! I have "Heroes" recording at 9:00pm and "CSI Miami" and "What about Bryan" at 10:00pm. Since there is "2" series links scheduled at 10:00pm and "Heroes" is running 1min. over, (10:01pm), "CSI Miami" was canceled because "What about Bryan" is higher on the "prioritizer"
Soo... I guess we a new icon to watch for in the "Guide"

This and much more are in the Unofficial Tips & Tricks link below.
Orange X ball means a conflict. The orange star means that you are Autorecording. That star also means that you may be having problems withyour HR20. Check the Autorecord thread for details.
Autorecord is based on the Search module that has a fatal flaw. It finds channels you don't get.
To sum it up: Autorecord BAD.

I've always known that this icon was a conflict no record icon; but I never used auto record; just series links. I've seen it on the guide and in the prioritizer when there were conflicts.
