WGN Chicago now HD

I turned on my TV this morning and WGN TV in Chicago (Chicago local) is now available in HD. Did this just happen? Where is the announcement?

Up in the stickied thread above there have been quite a few posts on new locals being added to various markets in the past day. Bascially looks like DirecTV and Tribune (who owns WGN and many other local stations) came to an agreement and the stations have been lighting up all over the country in the past 24 hours.

WHAT about WTTW channel 11, soundstage would be great in HD.
