NFL Replay on Channel 95

Hey anyone else notice that on channel 95 NFL Network was showing the 49ers and Rams in HD?

Anyone know if Directv plans on doing this a lot?

I've seen this since last week. Although they have kept the broadcast going of NFLHD even though they are not broadcasting HD content. Right now it is a replay of the Jackonville/Buffalo game which is in 4:3.

I think that is because the game wasn't broadcast in HD. It looks like it is the standard NFLNet HD feed so I would presume that if the game was broadcast in HD, it would be in HD. Check out the NFL Replay of the Giants/Titans at 8 ET. That should be in HD. Carbon, thanks for the heads-up. I thought they were only doing this for the Thursday night game but this is very cool.

It's nice they are using the channel when there is no Sporting Event. No sense in wasting the channel during the day. If they can just get the schedule correct, we can record the content.

Yes, good point. I just had to do a manual record for Replay at 8 o'clock. Not a big deal but it would be nice if it were in the guide.

Did any of you guys try to watch this replay last night? I tried to record it but got 2 hours of the D* logo. It seems likes they stopped broadcasting on 95 shortly after we posted last night. Anyone else notice this?

I would and I am not a Titan fan. Anytime I can watch a team with Jeremy Shocky on it going down in flames it makes me smile.
