HD Package Question [Archive]

Sorry if this already exists somewhere, I'm sure it does, but couldn't find it.

Anyway, I currently have HBO, Showtime and the HD package for free (thanks to retention). In a few months I'll have to start paying all of them and am wondering if I just keep the HD Package will I still get HBO and Showtime in HD or do I need to have those Movie packages to get the HD Channel too?

I'm thinking I can cancel HBO and Showtime since the only stuff I ever watch on them is the HD channel if the HD package includes those regardless..

HBO and Showtime are tied to their respective packages.

HD Package is their own.

Are the Fox Sports channels available in HD? I thought I had heard that some broadcast in HD but I do not see them in the guide.

They are available in some markets (part-time HD on ch. 96 or 97. Unfortunately KC is not one of the areas yet served. Since you have HD locals, FSN may get added as well.
