Is CW available in HD through D* (either MPEG-4 or MPEG-2) in the NY area?

I wouldn't expect to see it added till the new sats go up next year.

The OP used the phrase "through D*". That's why I didn't start tapping my foot again.

Tap, tap.

hehe. sadly enough, i've grown accustomed to be let down when it comes to D* actually getting things done in a timely manner.

I'm hoping for before the new sats are online; since it seems LA and Chicago have gotten the CW this week.

Where did you get that info? Doesn't appear to be the case for me.

KTLA has been in HD on DTV for a few days now. It is MPEG4, requiring a 5LNB dish and either H20 or HR20 receiver.

Hmmmm... it's not showing up on my guide, and I've reset my HR20 2 days ago. It's also not listed in the HDTV channels category.
