Will we see ViiV on the R15?

Does DTV have any plans with ViiV on the R15?

No, because there isn't an ethernet port on the back of the R15 (I'm not Earl, but common sence here). Anything that uses the USB ports should be available to R15 users though, like DirecTV2Go.

Well of course it could use an ethernet dongle (or wireless). No, the larger reason we won't see anything like this is because R15 has taken a very distant back seat to the HR20 as far as I can tell.

As stated above they could use a USB wireless or USB Ethernet adapter, they could do it like TiVo did and build in drivers for only a hand full and if you get others that work then bonus. :)

I would like to be able to play songs and stuff streamed to it, it was one of the features I actually used quite a lot on my SA Tivos.
