Another OTA question

Excuse the stupidity but I'm hoping someone can help answer this question.

If I hook up an external antenna to the OFF-AIR IN port on the back of this HD/DVR, will my HD local programs show up in the guide even if I don't have the 0x108 upgrade? Or do I need to run my antenna directly to my TV and watch my HD locals directly on the TV instead of through the satellite receiver?

Until you get the update, your only choice is to do what you described. When the update comes, you can integrate your OTA into the HR-20 and then be able to watch and record.
