What's the max dollar amount that you can charge to a smartcard before it won't let you order any more pay per views? Assuming I don't have a phone line attached to it.

If it's not a dollar amount that it keys off of, then what is it?

Is it different with each receiver model?

$50.00 is supposed to be the factory setting, then plug it into a phone line overnight and it should report your useage and reset to $0.00 so you can start again.

but, if your account has more than $100 in ppv or 60days since the last smart card download will effect ordering ppv

If you order PPVs, you should leave your phoneline connected on a regular basis. i.e. don't try to circumvent the system and keep it honest.
