Offer to postpone Install...

My install is scheduled for 1-5pm Dec 26 in Monroe GA, about 30ish miles east of Atlanta.
Today I got a call from a number that showed up as 417-8...anyway...
The lady said she was from D* and was calling about my install. Because of the overburden of the holiday season, if I would postpone my install until Jan 3rd, D* would credit me $6.00 a month for a year for the additional unit for my trouble.
As much as I wanted the credit, I also want the install so I declined because I already have the 26th off and I will be out of town the rescheduled date.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Yes, had a scheduled install of Dec. 26, got a call on the 23rd or so and was offered $5 credit off my monthly bill for 6 months. I asked him to sweetin' the deal a little bit...he said he couldn't. Hell, I was just toyin' with him, I couldn't wait for my HR20 to be installed.:D
