Need installation and ordering advice

A few question from a guy whose wife insists on professional installation because she knows me.
First I have an old dish on the wooden fence. It can support the weight of the new dish. Will the new dish fit?

The old dish feeds 2 lines into the house. Those lines are connected to a multiplexer to feed 2 directtivos. From reading the forum it seems I need 4 lines coming into the house and a new multiplexer. Do I need to specifically ask for new
cable from the new dish?

The new dvr will be going in my basement. Should I continue to use the cable that I use now or should I ask to have that replaced as well?

1. How big is the fence? Is your current dish mounted on a post, railing, fence boards? An installer might be willing to mount the new AT9 or Slimline dish on a fence, but they might prefer to install a new pole instead. It all depends on how sturdy the current fence is.

2. Yes, you'll need four lines from the dish's outputs to your new multiswitch. The installer should provide a Zinwell WB68 multiswitch with 8 outputs.

3. Your current cable is probably fine. You'll want two cables for each DVR, ideally, so that you can fully utilize the dual tuner features.

The fence railing is about 4 inches wide. A pole would probably be ok with my wife as long as it wasn't much higher than the deck fence.
