Small Black Box - Upper Right Corner?

Recorded a program tonight...on playback there is a small rectangular box in the upper right hand corner....it is about the width of the box away from the edge of the screen.

Searched but could not find anything or I was searching the wrong term(s)?

What is going on?

It could be one of your TV's Closed Caption/Videotext modes. Be sure that all the Closed Caption modes on your TV are set to OFF.
