Just a report on my replacement unit that has been in service about a week.
Last night I turned on the unit to find it very slow to commands, it would hang on guide screens, get blue background and the preview window but no guide, guide would scroll very very slowly, channel changes were taking 10 seconds, playback was slow etc.
But, the unit never completely hung up, just all sorts of errors and delays. For the last week I have been very pleased with the performance, just a few very minor hicups before last night.
Anywho, I did a RBR and all was well again.
Looks like this will be a run for a week with no problems and then a "boom requires a reset" box.
