I've got a 501, how do you force a download of the week's program guide?

Turn your unit off for about an hour, when the unit is off it is in standby mode, it tunes to the correct transponder and downloads the guide.

Its a good idea to turn off your 501 when your not using it so it can fetch the latest guide info.

It usually doesn't take an hour to get the guide info on the 501. Sometimes a switch test will do the trick or simply unplugging it for a few minutes.
