Is there any advantage (signal strength, PQ, etc) to upgrading from a legacy twin LNBF to a DishPro?

Not at all. The ONLY advantage to DP components is fewer incoming coax's to the switch. (max of 6 to an SW64 vs max of 3 to an SW34, assuming 3 sat slots) As a matter of fact, several dealers have reported problems with DP components with certain receivers, as well as the obvious issue with trying to use old in-house cabling.
If you only use a twin or quad LNB, there is NO advantage to DP ones whatsoever...

I thought maybe since the DP allows for longer cable runs that it would also improve the signal (PQ, etc). I have no switches and my cable runs are a little over 100'.
The check switch as also faster as there is now a two-way communication link between the IRD, switches and LNBFs, also potentialy more reliable over all in regards to "switch errors"

DishPro equipment requires RG-6 cable or higher to carry odd & even transponders (bandswept to at least 2200 MHz). DP LNB's in conjunction w/ DP 34 switch also allow for greater expansion of system ... up to 24 tuners if have DP Quad
