I promise I tried searching for the answer to this, but I'm running out of time and I was hoping someone could give the the skinny on how to do this so I can get Elvis tonight.

1. Push front panel reset button behind access card door.
2. Have your remote ready and wait for first "Welcome ...." screen.
3. On the remote, press the following keys one after the other (don't press Enter or any other keys) ....

What brand/model DVR do you have? If it's an HR20 HD DVR, you'll only succeed in downloading the same software you already have. You'll know the code has been accepted if you see the "looking for new software" display during the bootup process.

I need to set my remote to IR for the download. For some reason RF doesn't work.
