HR20 Setup question

I just picked up my HR20 tonight. I already have a 5 LNB dish installed. I was checking to see what kind of switch I have. From what I can tell I don't seem to have any sort of switch installed. I have 3 cables the come fromt the dish into the house. Each of this cables are connected to a grounding block, then directly to the cables for the specific TVs. I'm going to call DirecTv for installation. While I'm waiting, can I use the current cable going to my receiver (H20) until the installation is complete?

So you need additional outputs from the dish? You only need a multiswitch if you require more than the 4 outputs the dish itself can supply. You can take any of the current lines from the dish and hook them up to your HR20 for the time being if you're short on connections, regardless of which receiver they were originally connected to.

Yes. I need an additional line added for the 2nd line on the HR20.

all you need is one more cable from the dish to the hr20 and the one off the h20.. it will work with one cable but will only let you use the one tuner.

Ok, so if you only have 3 lines from the 5LNB at the moment, they'll just have to run the 4th line. No multiswitch needed until you add any other additional receivers.

So the cable will go directy from the dish to the reciever? I quess I'll have to look at the dish to see where it connects at. I had that installed when I first moved in.
