OTA Tuner Improvement in 0x115?

I see one of the 'Improvements' of the 0x115 release was to improve the HR20's ATSC tuner. I have not noticed any improvement.. has anyone out there noticed an improvement of their unit's OTA tuner?

Earl, any idea of what sort of improvement we are talking about? Sensitivity (maybe only based upon hardware), signal strength meter, etc.?

The ATSC improvements, where for some specific areas where the unit could not tune certain channels for some reasons.

There are some people in the main Elivs thread that reported now getting channels they couldn't get before... (As well as people reporting there are some they can't get any more)

Could this be due to remapping of guide info?

As far as ATSC tuner performance, I noticed no change whatsoever in signal levels. The BER stayed the same for every channel. (BER=Bit Error Rate, which is what the OTA signal meter in the HR20 actually measures)

I'm sure it was just a matter of going to the Markets with reports from this forum and others as to whom is missing channels and had to input the frequency and call signs and pretty picture. :)

Doesn't sound like it was to "improve" signal but moreso to add more channels to the Markets that were missing them.

Can those of us who still have the channels in the guide but 771 error expect any remedy soon? I've posted to OTA thread.

I noticed improved performance with 115. A channel, that while it was in the guide, wouldn't come in, and after the update comes in just fine. And I didn't touch the OTA antenna.
