I am trying this out to see who has kept the 0x115 Elvis and whom has reverted back or never left the 0x10b.

I just noticed this - If you also got 0x10b "pushed" please check the 0x10b (Santa). Sorry for more confusion.

Just reverted back right now. Had my first spontaneous reboot and a few other issues with 115. I think I'll wait till they get that figured out. I'm sure I'll try the next RC though.

It sometimes just amazes me the HUGE difference of troubles with the "supposed" same model receivers. Maybe we should start posting our "build dates" on here. I don't mean a huge difference in the troubles people are having, it seems they are pretty common. You'd just think, the same box would have the same trouble no matter who's house they're in.

10B ate my lunch. 115 has been much kinder to me. No problems yet and it seems to move faster through the guide.
Although I still see pinky.

I am still on Elvis. I have had a few problems but nothing really major.

Although I still see pinky.

That should be more than enough incentive to stay with what you've got! :D To be honest, it's been some time since I've seen Pinky. I haven't actually tried any of the Pinky reproductions but I used to run by it quite often.

Still with 115 on both machines... No problems on the main system where the box is never toggled on/off... RBR due to BSOD yesterday on the other box which is always powered on or off... Main box which is never turned off has never had any problems... go figure.

I'm still on 115. I've had two complete lockups (Wednesday and Thursday) when I turned the system on after being off for 24 hours but today it seems to be okay. I'm wondering if it has anything to do what what channel ( or type of channel) the system is tuned to when turned off. It was on an OTA channel the first time and a SD channel the second. I left it on am MPEG4 channel last night and that is the one time it didn't lock up. Who knows??? If it locks up again I'll try to roll back to 10B.

I forced 0x115 on Monday night and almost immediately started experiencing severe audio dropouts on one of my local HD stations. It appeared to me to be to be a problem with 0x115, so last night I got fed up and tried to revert to 0x10b. Only problem was, they've apparently already rolled out 0x115 in my area, so I had no fall back.

Fortunately, today I found out from the DirecTV installer who installed my neighbor's HR20 this morning, that this is a known transmission problem with this station that just started recently. Since I can also receive this station OTA, and the audio problem is a satellite transmission problem, I've got an alternative. I haven't experienced any other problems, so at this point I'm satisfied with 0x115.

Got two new HR20's today and they are at 10b abd my older HR20 is at 115. I leave mine on all the thim and have not had any problems so far (with 115). The new ones I'll have to see how they do.

I have the 0x115 and do not have any issues (knocking on wood as I type).

115 in California so no fallback but not sure I would if I could.

No spontaneous reboots (yet) or missed recordings but hinky in FF or REW and had black screen when first turned on yesterday afternoon requiring RBR. I may try leaving it on as others have suggested. Pinky lives.

I had a 115 spontaneos reboot (trick play) last night watching a recording of The Office, that's the only issue I have had with 115 but it's also the only thing I recorded with 115, so..... I have not voted yet but I think I'm going back to 10B, I'm nervous about '24' recording properly this weekend.

I've had little to no issues with my box.

After 4 days of flawless 0x115, I got a lock-up, followed 6 hourts later by the "spontaneous reboot using Slip-30". So I'm reverting back (at "Step 2 of 2" as I type this) to 0x10B to avoid spontaneous reboots during the playoff games this weekend.

Reverted back after lockups with trickplay and simply changing the channel. 10b was more stable for my box. 115 (on my box) started to miss recordings (CSI in particular).

I was out of town when Elvis paid a visit, else I would have upgraded one of the boxes to see how it work.

I down revved one of my 2 boxes, but the other is still @ 0x115. I actually think that other than the spontaneous reboots, 0x115 is better than the 0x10b release. That being said, spontaneous rebooting is bad. As soon as that is fixed, I think that we will be much closer to a stable system.

There are still some miscellaneous lockups, but those accounts seemed to have gone down in quantity.

Same here. Too many spontaneous reboots and the Playoffs are coming!

Another good thing to watch. I've had success with 0x115 so far but seeing as other have as well and then it goes bad is something to watch out for as well. Can you think of anything "different" you did in that time?

I would guess most know my history [lately], but for the few:
My box has been good [this one is 3 weeks old]. Got Elvis on the first night. No noticeable change. Fat, dumb, & happy.
Thursday afternoon, D* pushed 0115 causing a reboot in the middle of watching a recording. To prove this to myself, I forced a download. Sure enough 0115 came down.
Started the 0x115 rollout thread.
No big big deal. When D* pushes an update that I already have, I get one abnormal reboot. This happened to me with 0x10b.
So, I was watching a SD [PBS] recording and fell asleep. Woke up around 11:45 PM, and found the box locked-up. Since this was a PBS show & I was asleep, there was no trick-play, or for that matter any buttons pressed [zzzzz, oh it's over]. This was after Leno should have started recording, but no record light. RBR & half of Leno recorded.
Yesterday, finally 0x10b came back into the stream & forced it around 1:? PM.
Since then [thought not this long] back to "normal". Friday night seems to be a busy one with double recordings on MPEG-4 & me watching a recording in progress [with much trick-play button pressing for commercials] while recording other channels.
Just an FYI.
