I recently had my landline phone service disconnected at my house. I notified D* and they apparently disabled remote PPV ordering on my receivers. Having grown so accustomed to remote PPV ordering, I inadvertantly ended up ordering a PPV using my remote on one of my receivers that apparently did not have remote ordering disabled. Now I have a PPV order on an access card and no way to force it to dial in as I am without phone service. Is there any way D* can read the order off the card without the receiver dialing in? I am more than willing to pay for the PPV and don't want to get in any trouble.

find long phone cable, ask your neighbor permission and connect your STB to his phone jack, force from menu to dial out

just order ppv online, you will be able to watch what ever you ordered on every STB.

If it's one that you ordered by mistake, I wouldn't worry about it.

If you connect it to someone else's phone line to dial in, you run the risk of Dtv suspending your account and then turning you over to the "signal theft" department. All because you were trying to do the right thing.

Also, if you call Dtv and let them know, you run the risk of getting double billed if you ever get another land line phone and plug it in again.

I wouldn't worry about it. If one day you ever do get a land line again, then take care of it then.
