twonky slow play with HR20

Was hoping ..119 would help by twonky song playing problem, but it didn't. has anyone solved the slow playing of mp3 on the HR20? Thanks.

I monitor the network stuff a lot and I have not yet seen a fix to this.
I don't think it is the HR20 issue at all. It is only going to play what is being served up to it.

Hopefully someone will chime in with a solution.

I played around with TwonkyMedia for the free 30 day trial back around Christmas. Worked OK (didn't have slo-mo problem, couldn't play my iTunes music), but the HR20 in that timeframe had so many problems, I kind of gave up trying to do much with it.

Then a couple weeks ago I decided to try it again, only to realize my 30 day window had expired. So I decided to pay for TwonkyMusic, since I didn't really care that much about pics. I uninstalled the TwonkyMedia version and installed TwonkyMusic. Every song was playing in slow motion! :mad:

I didn't have time to mess with it again until tonight. I reloaded the TwonkyMedia on another PC in the house (new 30 day trial) - the slow motion playback is gone! I'm wondering if it is a problem with TwonkyMusic only?

Also - I'm pleasantly surprised to find that my iTunes music is playing on the HR20. Not sure what has changed - I installed the LAME and FLAC plugins just like before. Whatever it is, I'm really liking it! :)

I have TwonkyMedia running (on Linux), I am still in my trial, debating whether to buy it. I don't have slow playback, but I do sometimes get Cannot Access or major delays when trying to play a song for the first time.

Since you have paid for Twonky, I recommend you take this issue to Twonky and see about a resolution from them. They might have some info we could all use here.

This issue has been reported by others and as far as I know, there has not been a resolution found on this yet.
