Don't know if this has been mentioned as a workaround so I'm posting what I discovered today.
I am using a learning remote to control 7 devices (TV, HR10, HR20, DVD player, DVD recorder, SA8300 and receiver/amp). I learned the HR20 buttons into the remote since it was made before the HR20 (it is an older SL9000 that I will use until it finally breaks...it has been a GREAT remote for me).
Well, the skip to tick (hold down the FF or REW buttons on the HR20 remote) don't work and I was bumming, trying to figure out how to get it to learn that trick when I stumbled on a work-around.
If I hold down the FF or REW button for 3 seconds then click it again, it skips to the next tick. I figure that the button doesn't actually change coding when it sends out but it does a pulse and I am mimicking the pulse this way.
I hope this helps others not using the HR20 remote....or maybe everyone knows this already....I haven't read all the threads as I just got mine Friday.
