AT9 vs Slimline Dish

Anyone have enough time and experience with both dishes to make a comparison?

Several threads here comparing these two 5-LNB dishes. What specifically are you trying to compare? The SlimLine is a few pounds lighter than the AT9 with a slightly different form factor. Folks here who've used both don't really find much difference in terms of signal performance.

I was trying to look at it from a performance angle/rain fade etc... I originally had the D* phase three and switched to the larger channel master dish prior to putting in my AT9. I prefer a larger dish. I am going to put one up at a buddys house and he would like to go with a smaller dish as long as it performed like the one I have.

You shouldn't see any performance difference. Both dish's have similar reflector surface areas with low-noise LNBs.
