Vonage Wireless Phone Jack and Caller ID

Hi All,

I have a HD 211 system and a 411 receiver as well.

The 211HD system dials home fine with Vonage and a wireless phone jack. However, no caller ID. Anyone know of a wireless phone jack that works with Vonage caller ID and dish?? - I did make sure the caller ID option was enabled. I have a RCA wireless jack - claims it has caller ID compatibility..

The 411 system does not dial home, although it does try and the phone line test passes. That one is hard wired. I picked up another phone just to make sure it was dialing and getting the modem handshake after several attemps. Wierd how the wireless phone jack works and the hard wired one doesn't . Read some stuff about possiblly putting in some code for the dial out prefix to slow down modem???

Anyhow, I would be happy if I could resolve the first issue with caller ID.

Any insight would be helpful...

Try adding *99 in the dialing prefix on the reciever and see if it works.

Thanks for the tip - that fixed the dial out. Now if I could get caller ID working with the wireless phone jacks or a new set I would be a happy camper.
