If any of you are looking for a new TV, think HDTV. If you look at an HDTV in the store compare TVs based on ANALOG signals. Ask the salesman to turn on analog OTA, cable or satellite. If he won't move on to a store that will allow you that comparison. HDTV is affordable to most folks. HDTV will look from awesome to unbelievable on most sets properly adjusted. But some digital sets do an abismal job of converting analog. Don't forget to check that. Better now than after you purchase the set.
