Have four lines running from AU-9 slimline dish to media junction box where they feed a Zinwell 6x8 switch.

From the switch, I only have 6 lines running out: 2 to main room connected to HR20-700; 2 to den connected to HR10-250; 1 to bedroom connected to HR10-250; and 1 to office connected to HDVR2.

I have an antenna in the attic. Currently it is only connected (via direct coax connection) to the main room and the den. I do not have a separate coax cable run to the bedroom (and cannot easily fish one), but I would like to access the attic antenna feed. Can I diplex the single coax feed that is coming out of the Switch that is going to the bedroom, so that I can feed an OTA signal on the same wire? Would I need to use the B-band converter? Thanks.

You'll have to wait until the BBC is required.

One more thing - do I have to use a special diplexer splitter at both the point of combination and the split? Or will a regular coax splitter work at either point?

I have one diplexer and a few splitters lying around. Do I need to purchase one more diplexor for this to work properly?

I don't want to purchase another diplexer if a std splitter/combiner would work to combine the two signals, which I would then properly split with the diplexer.

One more thing - do I have to use a special diplexer splitter at both the point of combination and the split?You need a diplexer to "inject" the OTA signal after the switch and another to "extract" the OTA signal before the receiver. You need a pair for each line that you want to add OTA signals to.

Harsh is correct, you can diplex to HR10 in bedroom like this:

Dish==Switch--diplexor--diplexor--HR10
Antenna----------+ . . . . +----+

When you eventually replace the HR10 with an HR20, you would insert the BBC as this:
Dish==Switch--BBC--diplexor--diplexor--HR20
Antenna---------------+ . . . . +------+

Thanks to all who replied. I'm going to get a second diplexer and see if I can make it work.
