New 501 bug (for me)

Sometimes the timer clock does not show up in the Guide when I have a timer set. I just noticed it since V165. Another weird thing: I used to have to reset my 501 almost daily but since 165 it has been extremely stable.

Saturday, just for the heck of it, I decided to do a power button reset since I hadn't done one for about 6 weeks and it worked worse afterwards. I had a 2 hour timer fire and at 2:05 I checked to see what was recording and it was the same program and the Info button said it had almost 24 hrs left for that show. Weird.

what you might want to do to get your problem fixed is call dish network and let them know and get them to file an uncommon trend. or if you wish email me everything from your model id down to your bootstrap on the system information screen, and I will do it for you while I am at work a little early.

I filed a few uncommon trends myself with Dish after one of my 501's would record only the first ten to twelve minutes of hour long programs for whatever reasons no matter how i chose to setup the timers. It happened several times over the course of the first few days after the 166 software downloaded and even after doing what tech support recommended which was manually going in and deleting all my timers setup, turning off the receiver, and then turning it back on and resetting them.
