HR 20 data connection

I am thinking of replacing my HR 10-250 with an HR 20 so I can get local channels in high definition. My 10-250 receives updates and other data from a phone line connection. How does the HR 20 receive this information? I had a lot of trouble running a phone line to the location of my 10-250 (wireless jack doesn't work).
Will I have to run more wiring for the HR 20? Thanks.

The HR20 does not require a phone line for guide data or software updates. It does need a phone line for ordering PPV with the remote. If there is a working phone connection at the box location now you will be all set. All of the HR10 connections can be migrated to the HR20.
