First time formatter

Well, my R15 somehow lost its mind and deleted all my recordings. Since I don't have those pesky recordings to keep me from reformatting the hard drive, I might as well do it.

Are the steps:
1. Hit the red buttom
2. Wait until the screen turns black
3. Hold down the down arrow and the REC button for five seconds

What then? How long should it take?

On step 2, first you get a blue screen when it starts back up. When that blue screen goes away is when you do step 3.

Hold the down arrow and record for about 5 seconds - the record light should come on. After that you can let go of the buttons.

It typically only takes a couple of minutes longer than a regular reset. It will just go back through startup, you won't see anything special on the screen.
