View Full Version : Four satellites with twin LNBF, two duals and SW64?

Is it possible to cascade a legacy twin lnb along with two dual lnbs into an SW64 to get 4 sats, instead of the SW64+SW21 configuration that's mentioned elsewhere? I haven't seen this mentioned as supported anywhere, and would be surprised if it worked, but it would save me some parts if I need to upgrade to a 4-sat system.

Thanks,

No-

TWIN cannot be used with SW64. In fact, all you can use with the SW64 are 3 Dual LNB's OR 1 QUAD and 1 Dual LNB.

Having the TWIN means you're stuck at a max of 2 receivers and 3 slots.

Yep, that's what I've got. Too bad. Looks like I'll probably have to upgrade the whole mess if/when I get that 921.

Thanx for the info.

If you replace or trade your twin LNB for two duals LNBs you should be good to go for a 4 sat hook-up if you already have a SW64 switch & a SW21 switch.

Yup, that's what I'll be doing ... unless I decide to splurge and go for all DishPro. Thanks.
