Problems w/ Local HD Channels

The past couple of night I have had problems with my local HD channels. I live in Chicago area so my locals are 2(CBS), 5 (NBC), 7 (ABC), 9 (WGN), and 32 (FOX). My signals were scarmbled and the images were very boxy with different colors. Then I got a message at the bottom of the screen saying "Searching for Satilite 2 in (771)". I changed the channel to my non HD locals and they worked. I changed the channels to my other HD channels (73 ESPN) and those were fine. After about 10 minutes of this it went away but it comes back periodically. I called Direct TV and the lady could not offer any help. I have unplugged my box and plugged it back in and a few day later it came back.

I am a huge fan of 24 and had it set to record Monday night and missed the first 20 minutes of the show with this problem. This happened again when watching American Idol the past couple nights as well.

Anyone else seen this issue?

I'm getting the same problems in the Dallas area with hd locals. No solution as far as I know. I've had this off and on with various updates.

i have had the same problems the past few weeks with the chicago hd locals. i had the at-9 dish. when the temperature dropped all my hd locals went out. D* sent a tech out today and it looks like i had a bad lnb in the 103. they replaced the dish with a slimline dish. hopefully this takes care of the problem.
